Day 01 : Boarding at Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi

Day 02 : Agra

Arrive in Agra early in the morning and pay a visit to Taj Mahal, a jewel of Mughal design and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When the fresh rays of the Sun fall on the crystal white monument, it creates a beautiful sight that is hard to forget. An adorable breakfast at a luxury hotel represents the highlight of the day. Afterwards you have got choice of a tour in Agra or a native tour to Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb and Fatehpur Sikri, a town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Post lunch visit Agra Fort, a mammoth fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as the capital of his empire. Today, the fort serves as a royal museum. Return to the comfort of train or optionally watch 'Mohabbat the Taj' show before returning for dinner on board and nightlong stay because the train leaves for Ranthambore National Park, consequent destination of the Maharajas Express Train Tour.


Day 03 : Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore National Park) to Jaipur

JPost breakfast on board the train; lead off an exhilarating safari to Ranthambore Park in the morning. Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest preserved parks in India and is the best place to spot a tiger. There is also a good population of other wild animals in the park. Post visiting Ranthambore, departure for Jaipur. Lunch is served on board. The activity planned in Jaipur includes a visit to the Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar). Optionally, you may select activities like a visit to Amer Fort, and a private tour or a golf session at Rambagh Golf club Later, proceed to City Palace/Jai Mahal Palace for an exclusive tour to the Elephant Village where guests might favour to indulge to paint them, feed them or take a joy ride followed by dinner.

Return to the train for dinner and nightlong stay.


Day 04 : Bikaner

Early morning on the fourth day, you'll arrive at the desert kingdom of Bikaner. Afterwards you'll be able to take an ex gratia tour to either Lalgarh Palace or Deshnok Temple. In the afternoon, a tour to the majestic Junagarh Fort. After lunch, take part in an even-toed ungulate cart procession round the undulating sand dunes. Day 05 : Jodhpur

Day 07 : Balasinor

On the seventh day of the tour itinerary, you'll arrive in Balasinor, home to India's geological period park. After breakfast, lead off an excursion to the archosaur Fossil Park followed by a visit to the native village. The town is mainly famous for its centuries' old monuments and ancient culture. You will find more than enough to explore in the town, especially if you are a history lover. Rendezvous with the royal line of Balasinor over a royal lunch. Return to the luxurious Maharaja Express train for dinner and nightlong stay.


Day 08 : Mumbai
